State Road 32, Hamilton County Crash

Topic: Motor Vehicle Accidents
A head-on collision in Hamilton County, Indiana, left one dead and two injured. The crash occurred on State Road 32 near Mule Barn Road close to the Hamilton-Boone County line. State Road 32 was closed for several hours on February 12, 2009 while the incident was being investigated. Sixty-six year old Robert Newby, Noblesville, is believed to have crossed the center line in his Saturn Vue as he was heading west on State Road 32. Newby hit a Pontiac Grand Prix causing injury to its passengers. Sarah Beth Snider, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Donald Cochrane, Noblesville, suffered serious injuries and were airlifted from the scene to the hospital. The accident is still under investigation.
