A pick-up truck headed westbound on 236th Street in Westfield, Indiana was T-boned by a semi truck that allegedly ran a red light. The impact pushed the pick-up truck on its side. The semi was traveling northbound on US 31. Delisa Hale, Noblesville, Indiana, was treated for a broken leg and arm. The driver of the semi was not injured.
Anyone injured in a motor vehicle accident should consider retaining the services of an experienced truck accident injury attorney. A full investigation is needed to protect the recovery rights of the injured. The investigation should include taking photographs, witness statements, scene measurements, and in some cases, hiring an expert to perform a full accident reconstruction. Our firm also employs a truck industry expert to analyze other aspects of the accident such as the driver's log book. Oftentimes truck drivers "fudge" the books to drive more miles. Tired truck drivers = dangerous truck drivers.
